How to Convert PSYCANNONS

Here is a small tutorial on how to make a under slug psycannon. I feel that this conversion makes psycannons a little more visually balanced. This is a simple conversion.

Requires:

1 - psycannon

1 - psilencer (arm left)

1 - psilencer (right arm) 

Tools:

- Razor saw

- Glue (plastic or Supper) 

- Exacto Knife

Step 1

In this step you you cut the top of the psilencer. Make the cut with a razor saw right after the two rings. After making the cut clean and make sure the cut is flat. (demonstrated in pic 1)

Step 2

Now you will cut the top off of the psycannon. Again make this cut with the razor saw. After the cut clean and flatten the area. (demonstrated in pic 2)

Step 3

Glue the two parts together and position on model. You should endup with some thing that looks like this. (see pic 3)

Congratulations you now have some sweet looking psycannons.

Test Models

These are the test models I did for my Grey Knights army. I think they came out looking quite nice. It took me about 10 - 15 hours worth of work to complete them, however, I think the end result was worth it. I will hopefully be posting a tutorial on how I painted them in the next few weeks or so. 

Meanwhile, I get to wait until their brothers arrive in the mail.

Grey Knights - A Beginning

Over the next few months I will be participating in the Independent Characters' Hobby Progress Challenge. I will be building, converting, and painting a 2,250 point Grey Knight army. This army consists of a 1,850 point main army and a 500 point sideboard.
